We all live in very busy and uncertain times and get exposed to tons of information – probably more now than at any time in history.
Add the stress of work and balancing our family life and it can get really easy to get overwhelmed.
And as I have said many times before – stress is one of the most damaging things that can happen to your spine and nerve system.
That’s why I recommend one of the key concepts we discuss in our office to keep you healthy – Powerfocus.
Making time for prayer, meditation, deep breathing and journaling is essential for a good quality of life. You need to take a few moments every day to reflect and process your thoughts.
Write down your hopes and dreams.
Write down the challenges you are having.
What’s working in your life?
What’s not working in your life?
And take a break from the TV and read something inspiring.
One of my favourite books is called ” Write it Down and Make it Happen” by Henriette Anne Klauser. I’ve had this book in my house for years and love coming back to it from time to time.
I would give this book a 5-star rating and would definitely recommend you get a copy of this book or download it from kindle.
She explains the power of writing out your thoughts and different techniques you can use to access your mental and emotional health. This book is a game-changer. Enjoy!

Mandatory Face Masks
Following local bylaws and building requirements – we are asking all patients to wear a face mask when you come to our office for your appointments. We need your help to keep everyone safe and healthy. We are also taking steps for regular cleaning of adjusting tables after every patient visit as well as regular cleaning of the entire office.

As always:
a) if you have any fever, cough or cold please cancel your appointment and wait 14 days to let your symptoms pass. Contact your family doctor to decide on the best course of action.
b) if you are being tested for COVID wait for the results before booking your next appointment. If the results are negative you should be fine. If the results are positive you must stay home for at least 14 days. Again contact your family doctor.
c) in the office keep space between yourself and other patients of 6 feet.
d) If you need a receipt or statement they will be emailed to you after the shift. Let us know if you need a statement every 2 weeks or
monthly.
